Get Ready to Battle in the Clash Bash!

Welcome to the arena! Heavy Hitters pre-release is almost upon us and I can't wait to see what everyone will come up with. A week after the set official releases, on February 12th, the Clash Bash: Heavy Hitters starts! Check out this Fabrary link if you are not familiar with the FaB Clash format. What is the Clash Bash?

The Clash Bash is a Flesh and Blood free online casual league that you can play at your leisure. It uses Clash decks and you will need to play 8 unique opponents in the league over the course of the 9 weeks. If you want to play all 8 games in a day, you can! Once you have completed 8 games, you will be entered for participation prizing and the top 8 will be selected at the season! For the first 8 matches, when you win a game, you receive 2 points, if you lose, you receive 1 point.

How do I play?

During the season you can play on Webcam, Talishar or in person. Each match will be a best of 3. Each player will bring 2 different heroes and will need to win with both heroes to win the match. Once you win with a hero, you can't use that hero for the rest of the match. However, you are only locked into those 2 heroes during a match. Each match you can have a different deck or different heroes! Winner will need to submit the results to receive credit.

How do I find opponents?

There is an LFG channel in the league section on the Discord that you can utilize. I usually like to post a time frame that I will be available and see who else is available during that time.

Can I play more than 8 games in the league?

Absolutely, in fact we encourage it! The first 8 games go towards your record, but after that you can earn .002 for wins and .001 for losses. This will really only help those on the bubble, but these little bits of points will decide tie breakers!

So what about the top 8?

After the 9 weeks of regular play, the top 8 will be finalized. The players have 1 week to lock in 2 different heroes decks and submit them. We do have members of the clash committee participating in the league so we will choose a member or a third party to take the submissions. Once that week is up, the decks will be locked and will be available to the public. The players will have their pairings and will need to coordinate schedules. There is 4 weeks set aside to complete all the games in top 8 (10 total games) so we ask that players are cognizant of this and coordinate schedules as soon as possible.

Will there be prizes?

The winner will receive an armory playmat from our personal collection. We will also be doing participation prizes that includes an armory playmat and armory promos from our personal collections. Winners will have to pay shipping but we are hoping to offset shipping costs through generous donations.
